Collectively, Trustees ensure the effective management of our charity, conduct comprehensive risk assessments and implement strategies for risk mitigation, maintain the upkeep of buildings and equipment to optimal standards, and ensure compliance with legal requirements and The Scout Association’s Policy, Organisation and Rules (POR). Their invaluable assistance enables other volunteers to deliver an outstanding program that equips young individuals with lifelong skills and enduring memories.
We are seeking individuals capable of supporting our lead volunteer and chair with their professional expertise and experience, committing to a minimum of 3 years.
Trustees provide indispensable support to leaders in delivering an exceptional program, fostering camaraderie, expanding social circles, and honing new skills.
They play an instrumental role in Scouts, keeping a view on our vision, ensuring young participants receive unparalleled experiences, and overseeing adherence to safety and legal protocols.
